User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Worth a Second Read and More
My well worn book purchased a couple of years ago has been an invaluable source for my business growth. I now have two as I anticipated the book had been updated and I was looking forward to new material. I was not disappointed. There is a good deal more that has been added and I’m very pleased. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to start a home staging business. It was as much a pleasure to read the second time around as the first, and I discovered ideas I had missed in the first reading. Doubly good.

5 Stars Great Buy!
If you’re looking for a book that is really practical, honest and frank, this is it. No sugar coating. Facts, forms, check lists, resources. Great for beginners and pros alike. The large format makes for easy reading and I love the casual writing style, as if the author and I are friends having coffee and talking about starting a business. I’ve taken many expensive seminars in business and design, but have yet to find one that begins to compare with this single manual – and that’s saying a lot. If you’re serious, don’t look further. You won’t find anything better, seriously.

5 Stars This is THE book on staging.
I’m a practicing interior designer and decided recently to add staging to my services. There were several books/classes that I considered but in all my research this book came up repeatedly as the best “no-nonsense, down-to-earth, frank” book on staging. The book is packed with helpful information, tips and business ideas.

5 Stars A unique ‘must’ for any library catering to either re-career readers or those seeking tips on home staging
Business collections catering to real estate readers or those seeking careers in home staging will find HOME STAGING FOR PROFIT a unique, important and specific acquisition. From furniture rental and business record-keeping to check-lists for sellers and enhancement design tips, HOME STAGING FOR PROFIT is a unique ‘must’ for any library catering to either re-career readers or those seeking tips on home staging.

4 Stars Good book for opening a business
Good book if you are interested in opening a business. I wish she offered more ways to arrange furniture in living rooms.
