Stork Craft Hoop Glider and Ottoman

Sure to become the center of operations once baby enters the scene, this bowback-style glider and ottoman add comforting motion to feeding time. Enclosed metal ball-bearings allow for an incredibly smooth motion. Polyester washable pads and the solid wood construction gives these pieces a sturdy fit and finish you’ll appreciate far beyond the baby years.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Seat cushion is thin, but great for the price
Like a lot of the other reviews, the seat cushion is pretty thin. But, for the price, it works great. And frankly, unless you plan on living in the chair, the thin seat cushion isn’t going to kill you and even isn’t that uncomfortable. I can’t complain.

4 Stars Decent for the price
Like other customers I’ll say the seat isn’t the softest, but otherwise the quality seems decent. It looks good and wasn’t difficult to put together; it took about 10 minutes. The cherry color matches our other cherry baby furniture very nicely.

1 Star Invest in the best…this is NOT it!
I purchased this glider several mos before the birth of my daughter thinking it was a good value. For the first 4-5 months it was great! I used it frequently, as I breastfed and sat down in it 7-10x each day and rocked a LOT! Around 5 mos it started squeaking on each rock unless I sat at a specific angle, which is nervewracking when you’re trying to get a baby to sleep. It would also squeak when I stood up to transfer her to the crib – which woke her on multiple occassions. Not tiny mouse squeaks, either. Rusty hinge type squeaks. Oiling and greasing give short-term relief.

Around 6 mos one of the rungs under the glider splintered and I taped it back together with duct tape (I’m not a heavy gal, either, 5′10″ and 150lbs). I wish that I’d gotten something with better low-back support, too. At this point we still use it but I truly wish I had invested more money in a better quality rocker-glider, since I knew I’d be using it a lot. This was not the value I thought I was getting. Live and learn…

4 Stars Eye pleasing, could be more comfy
Compared to similar gliders, this was a fantastic value. Paying roughly $160 with shipping included is a deal that really can’t be beat. However, with such a great price comes sacrifice and in this case it’s comfort. The chair looks very pretty and was assembled in less than 20 minutes, so I was very happy with that. The bummer is that the cushion is on the hard side like most reviewers stated. The glider works perfectly, is quiet, and aesthetically pleasing, so I’ll suck it up and buy an extra pad to sit on. Hopefully that will make it a 5 star product.

4 Stars Comfortable and easy to assemble
My husband and I looked many places for the glider and ottoman and decided to buy this in the end. We didn’t want to spend too much money and wanted something comfortable and durable. For the price, we thought this was a great deal. It was very easy to assemble. As other reviews mentioned, the seat cushion is very thin but overall this chair is very comfortable. If you will be using this glider a lot then I would recommend something that has better cushion. I only use the glider at night to rock my 6mo old to sleep.
