I have been sewing since I was eight yrs. old. These are the best shears I have used in 50 (OUCH!!) years!!! No snagging of fabric. As smooth as cutting through butter. You will wonder how you survived without them!!!!!
4 Stars Too heavy for me
I bought these scissors on the advise of my quilting teacher. She said how great they are & there is a lifetime guarantee that they will sharpen them for you. Apparently you just have to mail them in.
I have to admit the price is great! The presentation when you get the scissors is beautiful. They give you a black sleeve for the scissors & a lovely chrome plated box to keep them in. But when I lifted up the scissors they were too heavy for me. That is because they are top quality steel. I was going to return them but my cousin who is a quilter really liked them & bought them from me.
So I know it is a great product but buyer beware: it is not for people who do not want a heavy pair of scissors.

These Gingher Shears are a must have for all homes. I purchased 2 pair; one for my husband’s greenhouse and one for inside of our house at the urging of my sister (she is both a master gardener and enjoys a variety of crafts). What a wonderful product for both places! The greenhouse requires cutting things as varied as cheese cloth to shade cloth. And the home house requires, well home house scissors. While shears may not, typically, be top of mind for most people (me included), when you need a pair of shears you will be very pleased if you have these Ginghers.
