LightTracer light box has a 10×12 opaque screen and plastic frame (lightweight). The interior bulb is the popular 12 8 watt bright white bulb. Top of box features a tool tray. Great for copying graphics photos templates anything! Applications for memory albums (trace templates mats borders die-cuts etc.) quilters (trace stencils stitching lines right to the fabric!) needle artists painters and more! One side of box features memory related graphics the other side of the box features stitching related graphics. UL Listed 115 volts.

5 Stars An awesome inexpensive tool for animators!
I really enjoyed this product and got it as a birthday present. It’s a great tool for anyone interested in traditional animation who is looking for a cheap lightboard. It works great for crafts and other projects as well, definately a great deal. I would highly suggest this product!

I bought this lightbox based on the glowing user reviews, which were ultimately misleading. This product is cheaply made and not even close to bright enough; I’m sorry that I wasted my money on it.

Don’t waste *your* money on this terrible imitation of a lightbox – save up and buy a quality product instead.

5 Stars Great little inexpensive light box!
I think this is a great product. I bought it so that I could use it to turn complex scientific illustrations into line drawings for a class I teach and it is perfect for my purposes. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and sufficiently bright to do what I need it to do. It’s also a good size for the price – you can trace a whole sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper with room to spare. For anyone who wants a simple, easy to use, and inexpensive light box, this is a good choice. I imagine it might not be appropriate for very heavy use and it is perhaps not as durable as some more expensive and/or professional models. However, for anyone who will use it only occasionally or will need to move a light box around from place to place (I’m thinking scrapbookers might fall into this category), this is a great little product. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of mine and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

This appears to be what I will need to review and sort slides before scanning them and saving to CDs. I also note that it will be useful in some of my sewing projects.
