5 Stars Even someone who cannot sew can perfectly fix things now
One day when I was at the cleaners I had a button problem on my uniform pants. The owner of the cleaners told me he had this product he would use to fix it for me. I remember seeing it on TV a long time ago.

He told me where to look for it. I called every place that he suggested and no one had it.

I went to Amazon.Com found it, bought it and bought refills and now I am as happy as can me.

I’ve had this “original” buttoneer for several years so I have experience using it. You don’t need experience. It is the worst tool I’ve ever used. I keep trying different sized staples but to no avail. I don’t know why I hold on to it. It’s easier for me to sew buttons on when I need it.

1 Star Don’t buy it!
I owned the original Buttoneer years ago and thought this was the same thing. It is not! It is a pure waste of money. The original had single studs on a strip that fed into the machine and it was very easy to use and very sturdy. This new one you must put the double studs in one at a time, very time consuming. And the worst part is that they are so flimsey they will not hold the button on if there is any pull at all. WOW, am I sorry I bought it!!

4 Stars Good thing for a single guy
Since I’m single & like things quick and easy it’s great for my uniforms that I wear at work. Some reviews I’ve read here say it doesn’t work for them but I just had to go through a couple fasteners until I got the hang of it & no problems since. I’ve only used it for your “ordinary” buttons that most clothes have but that’s all I’ve needed it for & expect it to do.
